Are you an experienced circular economy or materials resource efficiency consultant looking to work on a wide variety of built environment projects?
Do you want to help grow and support a collaborative and industry leading sustainability and energy team, within an established practice?
Do you have a passion for sustainable, low impact and future proofed design, and are looking to make a real difference within the built environment?
Here at Pick Everard, we are looking to appoint a Principal Circular Economy Consultant to help drive forward or growing requirements to integrate circular economy practices in our work.Â
The successful individual will respond positively and independently to opportunities for circular practice, as generated by work across the practice, or self-sufficiently identify and work to secure new work with new clients, with support from the wider S&E team.
The candidate would need to have technical strength in a wide range of circular practices, be a commanding advocate for the application of the principles based on examples of built environment work, and be client facing for both internal and external audiences.
About You
- A positive and active team member, with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Relevant degree and/or post graduate qualifications, and/or suitable other knowledge and experience
- Â A solid knowledge of current circular economy standards and legislation (UK and Europe), and good and best practice
- Strong understanding of the built environment sector e.g. commerciality, project roles and stages, across buildings and infrastructure
- Strong leadership skills and a robust understanding of corporate governance and mechanisms to elicit action on circular practice; this includes the ability to upskill and assist less experienced clients and colleagues on technical circular economy matters
- Membership, or working towards membership, with relevant industry bodies of expertise and advice
- planning and delivering proposals and projects, including fees and commercial management
